About Mahua Art Foundation
Mahua Art Foundation was founded in 2000 with the vision of bringing about an awareness of our ancient heritage and culture in contemporary times. Mahua Art Foundation is a registered non-profit organization with income tax exemption under the 80 G section. Mahua Art Foundation explores the heritage through its publications, journals, CD’s, workshops, heritage lecture series and seminars.
Mahua Art Foundation has had over 50 workshops and with over 1000 participants since its launch in 2000. The workshops organized by Mahua Art Foundation fall into one of three categories:
Mahua Art Foundation invites renowned scholars and artists to give presentations and demonstrations on ancient arts, literature, philosophy and culture. Some of speakers have been Malavika Sarukkai, Dr. Karan Singh, Dr. Vidya Dehejia, Dr. Jyotindra Jain, Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar, etc.
